While I was reading over my blog about our Angel Sheila, I glanced down and noticed there was a comment and I immediately scrolled down to click on the one comment. The comment suddenly appeared before my eyes. It said anonymous, but I beg to differ, you are not anonymous in any sense of that word, you are truly a dear friend, that knew our Sheila first hand.
I started reading and soon realized that the words and letters were bleary. I checked to make sure I had my glasses on. On occasion, I set them down and I can't see well enough to know where I put them, especially if they are on my colorful bedspread. Well, my glasses were right where I put them, on my face. I blinked rapidly as silent, sad tears drizzled down my cheeks, landing on my keyboard.
I thought to myself, self, stop crying, you want to know what Angel Sheila's good friend had to say about her. I read further on and right to the end. All that I knew about Sheila was so surely confirmed by her friend's lovely description of Sheila.
I am sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to meet her face to face, but if I did, I know I would have been greeted by a sunshiny smile and a heartfelt hug. Sheila's friend describes our Angel Sheila to the tee.
Thank you, dear friend of Sheila. You made me weepy, but you gave me back my sunshine, to dry the falling tears.
I extend a tribute to you and our friend, Sheila with this song from John Denver. Please know that I am thinking of you, too. No doubt you are missing your sunshine Sheila, too. My sincere condolences to you.
