Jerry called to make sure that my spirits were still right up there. He is such a compassionate soul, who shares all his life and transplant experiences with those of us undergoing life changes like him. He offers excellent advice, resources and a positive outlook. He is more than willing to talk with anyone about transplants and being an organ donor.
Since going through so many medical situations, Jerry is firmly convinced that God has a plan for him and that is, his reason for being is, to help others. He and his lovely, supportive wife, Diane travel and organize meetings for transplant patients, schools, civic groups, etc. to help them understand what a transplant is all about and that donating organs are truly a gift that saves lives. Their mission is of the utmost importance for those of us facing a transplant. So, please consider giving the gift of life on behalf of Jerry's quest.
