A bit of Heaven Here on Earth

JoAnne, one of my traveling companions and friend extraordinaire introduced me to Eze, in France many years ago. It is one of my all time favorite spots because the Mediterranean Sea shimmers and glimmers in its multitudes of blue-green colors. The sun shines, lighting up Eze as a fairy tale kingdom. The Cactus Garden weaves its thorny, flowering beauty up the hillside as you walk to the top. The only traffic that is permissible is foot traffic, there are no roads for any type of vehicle. Eze hears only the sound of feet passing through. It is a majestic niche where the sun and water abound. The encompassing view from above the village is spectacular as you gaze about you in a 360 degrees circle. So, I am sharing my little secret with you. Enjoy your trip to EZE as much as I have. I am looking forward to my return there.

Click on the following link and click on le jardin exotique, panorama est du chateau and panorama ouest du chateau. Enjoy the view. Just imagine yourself there, soaking in the sunshine and feasting your eyes on the sparkling bluish -green Mediterranean Sea. Ah, it really is a bit of heaven here on Earth.
